Blind Dave is the first and only blind person, (one of only 4 people ever), to have run 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents.  Then the first and only blind person to have run and cycles from John O Groats to Lands End completing a marathon and 75 miles cycling everyday over the 10 days - covering 1000 miles in total.

 

In April 2015 Blind Dave took on the Sahara Desert in the Marathon De Sables.  Reputed to be the toughest foot race on earth, Dave became the first blind person to successfully take on and complete the 160 mile plus event.
